Mizo Academy of Sciences' office is a residential private property owned by M. Dawngliana, a retired Mizoram Civil Service personel. From the very beginning of MAS as MIPOGRASS in 1995, Pu Dawngliana committed that the house be let free to the society for him to serve science education in Mizoram. We were remoreseful on his unexpected demise. To keep his spirit and vision alive, his wife Pi Nuntharmawii and family whole-heartedly continued the patronage even to this day. Their dedication to MAS and scientific community of the Mizo people as whole is truly exemplary.
